چکیده
Additive parts made of 2205 duplex stainless steel were fabricated by cold metal transfer (CMT) wire and arc additive manufacturing (WAAM), their microstructure properties systematically studied. The X-ray diffraction results show that austenite phase ferrite formed in the parts. Due to low heat input characteristics CMT-WAAM, no ? was observed. different from bottom top, with content gradually increasing decreasing. EBSD indicate part grew parallel normal direction {100}. However, middle plane composed build direction, along {100} {111}. effect contents on mechanical performance simulated using LAMMPS software. simulation exhibit a common characteristic dislocations move mainly 1/6<112> crystallographic families. maximum tensile stress values bottom, middle, top 23.3 GPa, 22.3 Gpa, 22.5 respectively. data strength consistent actual data, largest process.

Using uniaxial tensile and hardness testing, we evaluated the variability and anisotropy of the mechanical properties of an austenitic stainless steel, UNS S17400, manufactured by an additive process, selective laser melting. Like wrought materials, the mechanical properties depend on the orientation introduced by the processing. The recommended stress-relief heat treatment increases the tensil...

متن کاملFabricating Superior NiAl Bronze Components through Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing
Cast nickel aluminum bronze (NAB) alloy is widely used for large engineering components in marine applications due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Casting porosity, as well as coarse microstructure, however, are accompanied by a decrease in mechanical properties of cast NAB components. Although heat treatment, friction stir processing, and fusion welding were im...
